If it's all basically propaganda to cement Charles and the Monarchy into the Nation's consciousness, it's having the opposite effect on me. And we have 10 days of it. And there was I feeling all warm and sentimental.... My bold. No I don't either but apparently at present, the total cost of the funeral, security, etc will not be disclosed to the public so any guess on the part of the media is just a guesstimate. They have shown how the royals were in private and to be honest I’m surprised to say the least not shocked but very surprised... To me they should have presented themselves more in that manner more people might just have to warmed to them even more... In private they seem very much a normal family.... I almost feel sorry for her having to serve all her life and not able to be her true self to her subjects.... How do we evaluate his performance, would this be by him being credited for say, a reduction in energy costs, or conversely blamed for an increase? I see him as a possible ‘door opener’, where said door has been locked and bolted to mere politicians. On the other hand, as taxpayers who are footing the bill in a time of Austerity, don't we have a right to know?
