You're clearly interested otherwise you would have just switched channels like normal people do when a guest / guests on a Breakfast program have no interest to them.

It's unfair that anyone should be paying inheritance tax. Inheritance tax is a wicked tax because it's effectively taxing the same assets earned twice.

Would you be happy if King Charles had to sell off assets which are effectively a museum handed down from one monarch to the next monarch over hundreds of years to pay inheritance tax?

The Queen volunteered to pay income tax after the Windsor Castle fire because there were complaints about the taxpayer funding the repairs and re building.  At the time it was agreed inheritance tax would be exempt.  If the Monarchy wasn't exempt then they would do what most sensibly landed gentry do and pass on their assets to the children and family at least seven years before they die.

She soon got around how to bring in dosh to repair the fire damage at Windsor Castle, simple, she just opened a part of Buckinham Palace and charged the Public/Tourist extortionate  entry fees.

It costs less for the public to look around Buckingham Palace than it does for an adult to attend a Premier League football match. Nobody is forced to go and look around Buckingham Palace just as nobody is forced to go and watch a football match.  The more money the monarchy can generate from revenue earned from visitors looking around Buckingham Palace mean less money is needed from the taxpayer to cover the  annual cost of the monarchy.

Your always bragging how much the Royals  generate millions, well why don't they live off that and leave the Taxpayer alone.  It is pure greed.

I'm not sure kids in union run closed shop schools, have that freedom though!

Mercifully, they only exist in your fevered imagination.

So there is nothing for the rest of us to worry about.

No.

I put the tv on in the morning whilst having breakfast trying to catch proper NEWS, whilst waiting to take my daughter to her workplace.

Habitually I watch either BBC news, and on/ off flick to GMB- it just happens this morning these two people were on the program to 'share' their experience of being in a queue- albeit, in the front (wow).

In fact, snippets of this whole Queen saga is a bit difficult to miss as the usual news,  isn't real news at the moment.

Bragging?  The monarchy generates revenue from worldwide tourism which is a benefit for the whole UK economy and doesn't go into the monarchy bank account.  There is no personal greed for the monarchy generating revenue that benefits  the UK economy.

It costs money to employ staff and security needed to accommodate the public visiting Buckingham Palace.

How much  do you think you've  personally contributed for the existence of Buckingham Palace?

Yep, that's how you make us feel.
