Bargepole23
The Government and Sheffield council advised people to buy diesel back in the eighties , I did ,still got it its done 220 ,000 miles if thats not saving the environment then I don't know what is. ---------- Post added 29-10-2018 at 13:58 ---------- Where you hit on the head by the grouse and pheasants being shot out of the sky on the public foot path ,allowed by the same people who tell kids not to feed ducks. Not using a car is saving the environment, driving 220000 miles in one, diesel or otherwise, is not.
tinfoilhat
Not using a car is saving the environment, driving 220000 miles in one, diesel or otherwise, is not. Well, I'm not entirely sure about that, certainly given the thwacking great carbon footprint a new car makes. If you don't do high miles, I'm not sure which harms the environment over all the least. Cyclone
Where you hit on the head by the grouse and pheasants being shot out of the sky on the public foot path ,allowed by the same people who tell kids not to feed ducks. Is this supposed to be some kind of defence for polluting the lake with bread and harming the wild life by feeding it inappropriately? Let me paraphrase "other people harm wildlife more, so it's okay if I give it malnutrition"... Is that your argument?
