This is the first picture of the teenage thug who laughed at a disabled woman as he pelted her with flour and eggs while she sat on a park bench. Cohan Semple was among a group of youths who launched the ‘despicable’ attack on the vulnerable woman and then posted a picture on social media. Semple, 18, appeared in court yesterday and admitted his part in the humiliating attack in Bury St Edmunds that caused an international outcry in July. Date: 01 NOV 2018 Location: Ipswich Youth Court. MINIMUM FEE ONLINE OR PAPER ??150.00 Cohan Semple (18) who pleaded guilty at Ipswich Youth Court to covering a woman in flour and eggs in an attack in Bury St Edmunds in July 2018. N.B: None of the other accused can be iddentified because they are under age. Cohan Semple has been unmasked as the person who posted footage on social media of the sickening egg and flour attack on a vulnerable woman (Picture: Eastnews Press Agency) Four other teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons because of their age, have also admitted their guilt. The court heard the boys were seen laughing and smiling next to Janice Morris, 49, after they had covered her head to toe in flour. The picture was posted on Snapchat by Semple for his group of 25 contacts to see.

Why hasn't this got traction with the twitter outraged, social media, etc, etc, seems to be a hierarchy of oppression, and no, i am not downplaying the OP, but its a valid question. Disabled and sick people truly are invisible.

I've seen it in the news but can't recall where. But yes, what those louts did is worse than this bit of **** housery. But they've searched a house and arrested another idiot.

As an aside, 5 people have been stabbed to death in London in less than a week. Wouldn't Londoners be better served with the police sorting that out first?

Reinstating the stop and search policy on known groups of knife carriers would be a good place to start, prevention is better than the cure etc, etc.

Yes you ARE downplaying the op, its all but but buts

have you checked see if the people in your reports HAVE been done? im sure it would be assault. NOT everything can make the major news either, its nothing to do with anybody being disabled, it happens all the time...one story blows up, another doesnt.

It might just have something to do with Grenfell, the worst residential fire since World War Two being a significantly bigger event than flour being thrown at a disabled woman on a park bench.

Grenfell made headlines across the world for months, whereas the attack in Suffolk barely made the national news for one day.

But these idiots, and that's a really nice word for them, have only hurt feelings. In an ideal world, they'd be paraded round grenfel, where the locals can chuck stuff at them. They didn't set the actual building on fire. The woman on the bench was assaulted - I can't think of a better word for having seen the video, and we've 5 stabbings in the capital. Arrests have been made, I'm sure somebody at the met can leak out names, and these walking pieces of excrement can have their lives made unpleasant.

But in a time of austerity (which hasn't finished) we need to prioritise, and I'd say 5 murders take that particular priority.
