There will be no second referendum. We all know that. No matter what percentage or turn out TCH keeps banging on about, that's not an issue. The leave vote won.  It's just pure and simple sour grapes. It's so funny to see the remainers wallowing about in their jar of vinegar, but democracy must prevail and if they don't or won't accept this then they're living in the realms of stupidity. We can all say this till we are blue in the face, but again....if there is another referendum, which there won't be, and the leave camp TRIUMPHED again, then you can bet your bottom dollar that the remain camp would start all this crap again. Pathetic at best, childish at heart.

May has a brexit deal ready to go. We would be leaving if childish, cowardly brexit MPs would vote for it. It’s not remainers screwing this up.

Like? Scaremongering are we?

Oh give over. You have made several post that could also be classed as scaremongering as you fail to give details only anecdotes.

So I am asking .. Who are the the people thinking this:

"That is the current thinking on how the second referendum should be run if there is one."

 And what ballot is this:

"If Hilary Benns motion goes through, then leaving with no deal is dropped from the ballot"

The only way to run a three way would be to have a runoff by transferable vote - so you vote your preferences, 1,2,3, instead of X in the box.

e.g

No Deal [3]
The Withdrawal Agreement[1]

Remain[2]

I very much doubt that would happen as the voters have already said no to that type of transferable vote system (AV) in a past referendum.

Not exactly keeping up with events then.  The dupty PM and the PM's chief of staff are already in talks about a second public vote.  Get ready, better yet, just don't vote since according to you, it won't happen.

*sigh

This type of voting already happens for UK MEPs  for example.  The AV referendum was for general elections.  It didn't ban it for all types of elections.

No definitely not, remain has already been rejected in a previous referendum so the question should not be asked twice, it should be like the game.. Deal or no Deal!

And if no deal isn't an option? Legislation to makes this option illegal is on the cards over the coming weeks.

Why shouldn't the question be asked twice?

Current polling shows Remain 55%, May's deal 30%, No deal 10%.

Why on earth would you have another referendum which only gave a choice between the two least popular choices?
