Why are photos always blurred on this morning and loose women?

There's any number of reasons for doing it, also, possibly because it takes your focus away from the surrounding, and lets you see and concentrate on the subject they are talking about...

But the background is untouched, all that is blurred is the single person in the shot, the subject matter, it is very weird.

Then maybe they are allowed to talk about the case, but not visually identify them, as to protect them from the general public hounding them possibly..

it all depends on the situation, the reason, the subject etc...
