JIbbo
The views from a top floor apartment in that building would be fantastic !
crookesey
I still think that it's a cracking spot for a hotel, I appreciate that folk used to say that it was hard to find, but in these days of sat nav that isn't a factor anymore.
Frenchie9920
I've got a soft spot for Hallam Towers. I always remember, as a child, waiting with eager anticipation for the "Christmas tree" lights to go up on the side. When they started that was the beginning of Christmas for me! Lushcannon
I thought it was unsafe-hence the pending demolition.
RichK
Has anything been announced or is this a random thread bump? It needs demolishing, but the local residents think their property prices will be affected by any development. Baffling. It's a dump, and an eyesore. The ground level buildings in particular are disgusting.
RichK
wasting money demolishing potentially useful buildings, just look what happened to the town hall extension. Yes, a grim, disgusting eyesore that was functionally an extreme poor building (I worked in it for years and it was just horrible to be inside) was demolished and replaced with an excellent and beautifully designed space. Let's have some of that for Hallam Towers.
