Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more. Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in. 8.30pm, free entryFriday 14th December: Mahogany Newt Mahogany Newt is a power rock trio performing high energy classic rock from the greatest bands in the world. The band formed in the early '90s and has since become well established in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire as one of the top rock cover bands in the region. The set includes a wide variety of songs including tracks by Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Journey, Toto and many more. The live performance is enhanced by the subtle use of backing tracks providing keyboard lines to faithfully recreate some of the best songs ever written. (Please note these are not 'off the shelf ' backing tracks but purpose made tracks recorded by Andy for the band.) 9.30pm, free entrySaturday 15th December: The Carnival Sheffields answer to a question Bono never asked. If you like beer, loud music, bad language and an awesome night out get y'selves to a Carnival gig whenever possible.
