El Cid
I have in the past weighed in aluminium cans, metal and car batteries. Perhaps you have a local weigh-in metal facility? woodview
Seems a good idea. I think the recycling bins now are lower priced to the council because the collection company can sell some of the waste.
willman
We have an old gent in the village (strangely he's always appeared old) who still collects aluminium tins walking the streets with his carrier bag. He started doing it when the recycle cabins opened at Crystal Peaks some 20 years ago probably.

geared
The Americans get a small amount for cans and stuff don't they?? The Germans also operate a system where glass bottles pay back a small amount when returned to a retailer. 2 hours ago, willman said: We have an old gent in the village (strangely he's always appeared old) who still collects aluminium tins walking the streets with his carrier bag.
