Ha3el
left at 17 - or rather they moved away and i didnt want to, moved back in for a year at 18 before got kicked out. id never go back, not even on speaking terms. I read summat once that said that about 2/3 of people who leave home for first time will move back, as doesnt work out how expect, not ready for it etc. by time you leave for second time though its not common to move back in as are more prepared second time around. gazelle
Left at 17, moved to Bournemouth and hated every flaming minute of it:( Moved back with parents about 6 months later then left for good at 21 but only because I was expecting my first baby. Agent Orange
I left home at 21. Would I go back? No. Bought a house so why would I want to do a silly thing like that. Although, living with parents did have it's advantages like cheap rent, laundry service etc etc..

funkymiss
Yeah it's the independance thing I think, once you get it it's very hard to go back to being 'under your parent's roof' all the time... I always think it'd be such a shock to go back after uni!
