Unfortunately, you are about to see the poor and the working class hit hardest. I do hope you’ll be contributing to the various food banks and solidarity funds that will inevitably follow on from your actions

Food banks and solidarity funds exist NOW and have done for many years, long before Brexit.

Our EU membership has been no protection for the poorest at all. Why do you expect that to change if we Remain in the rich mans EU club?

Why do you make common cause with Johnson and Rees-Mogg?

somebody has a tenner a week and loses a tenner they have nothing, whereas somebody with 100.000 a week loses a tenner Oo

Using that logic? it has always been that way even before brexit, and also assumes that the person with a tenner also loses that tenner. Doesn't really mean anything as it depends on why that person has lost a tenner in the first place.

As I have stated previously, in a Socialist lead and created organisation should any member get special status? Shouldn't they all be given the same status and conditions?

People do get preferential treatment, that is the way of the world. I have a completely different contract at work than 99.99% of the other worker's purely and simply because of my skills and experience, and the value I add to the company. This wasn't given out in a Christmas cracker, it was built up over years and years of trust and negotiating. Would you be happy if you worked with someone who was less experienced than you but they had more perks? and earned more money? and just to add insult to injury you were indirectly training  them too.

Now , i'll ask you a question, would you be daft enough to give that up and go on a "standard contract"? I'll give you a little time to think about it. Think about it long and hard for a while and quote this paragraph in your answer. I await in anticipation. :)

I don't. I see a bigger picture.

Brexit will destroy the Tories. It will tear them apart. What we are seeing now is possibly the last ever Conservative government.

But Brexit offers an even greater prize. It will deliver a devastating blow against western capitalism and usher in a new era in which alternatives to the produce/consume/grow society can be fully explored.

Unfortunately, that chaos is roughly what BoJo and JRM see. Except that they see the end of Labour and a destruction of employment regulations.

As ever, be very fussy about who you get into bed with.

But you are comparing individual people and contracts with a Socialist led organisation, the EU, that has equality at its roots and should treat all equally so its not comparable. Leaving the EU is not a single decision by a person but based on a collective majority decision by the people.

Wont happen mate, the Tories/DUP are in until at least 2022 and a heck of a lot of working class people don't like being taxed to the knackers by the good old tax and spend Labour party. Labour pledged about 4 trillion (only slightly exaggerated) of spending in the last election, and that's the only reason the Tories lost their majority.

One for you here CarBoot----

Love Working, Love Not Being Taxed To Death By Labour.

No it's just that most ordinary families I know drink instant. If ordinary families that are feeling the pinch that much then they wouldn't go spending extra on wine and beer in restaurants either.

Perhaps this is all about who we know though and we shouldn't assume that our direct experience is representative.

The only person I know who still drinks instant is my Dad, he claims that the real stuff doesn't taste any better, but he doesn't refuse when I make him one.

You're right though, if times were tight then instant coffee would be an option, and meals in restaurants would be a distant memory surely.
