Unattributed fake news.

Where did you find it?  Facebook?

Let's just say it's from a more credible source than your "will of the people" and "largest vote ever" guff :hihi:

Hmmm, "one-year spending review".. sounds a lot like an Emergency Budget.... :suspect:

BBC reporting that twelve ships isn’t enough to enforce fisheries exclusion zone around Britain. It’s also not enough to enforce the ‘border’ then. Anybody given any of this any thought?

“We will take back control and our sovereignty!”........ just repeat this enough times and your typical leave voter will then think the issue will magically resolve itself.

The problem the UK will have as an ex-member of the EU is that we will no longer have any protection in matters like this. If Spanish fishing fleets choose to fish British waters the EU will neither know nor care about it.

The same goes for Gibraltar. If Spain one days decides to annexe it, the EU will not take a stand as it will involve a non EU country rather than being a dispute between two members.

It’s always better to be in the club than a disgraced ex member.

I seem to remember the Argentinians trying to annex a little bit of Britain

That didn't end to well for them did it.

A salient example of what happens when you're not properly prepared! Sounds a lot like Brexit :?

It didn’t end too well for the thousand or so people who lost their lives.

As a general principle, avoiding military conflict is a good idea.

You extremist Brexiters might think differently though.

Which is what the EU and its predecessors has been reasonably good at over the past sixty years.

One of the many reasons why Turkey can’t join the EU is because it is currently in a territorial dispute with Greece. Any moves by Spain against Gibraltar would have cost them dear but after an EU exit, a nationalist Spanish government could well bow to populist demands and annexe the territory.

The EU would remain neutral and faced with many of an overwhelmingly Remain supporting population actually considering a better future with Spain in the EU (as many Ulster Unionists are now doing), what precisely would a UK government do?

The more you consider Brexit, the more dumb an idea it seems.

You have to be specific and correct if you are going to make statements like that. Do you actually know what constitutes “Britain”? Even school children should know this. Our country is called The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Britain actually represents England and Wales only. Scotland makes it “Great Britain”. The Northern Ireland bit represents what it is.

The Falkland Islands have never been a part of Britain. It is a British overseas territory and nothing more or less.

So to state that Argentina tried to annex a bit of Britain is laughably wrong in every sense.

You would have thought Leavers banging on about sovereignty would know basic history and what their own country actually is.
