Climate change protests

Extinction Rebellion is using fascist tactics to try and impose their particular brand of middle class extremism upon the rest of us.

Preventing the distribution of a few papers featuring propaganda from Murdoch and the Barclay brothers is far from a fascist act. I’d ban them from any newspaper ownership in the UK until they move here and pay tax here.

Legitimate protest always inconveniences some people. In this case, see the fury of the establishment. They rely on billionaire newspaper owners to keep the plebs in line. There’s a reason why XR are the story today and not the fascists blockading Dover.  That stinks in my view.

Anyway, back to XR. How should we instigate climate action if we aren’t allowed to upset the billionaire propagandists?

It looks like they were only targetting the Murdoch presses and calling what comes out of those places "newspapers", is a bit of a stretch of the imagination.

You don't believe that The Telegraph and The Financial Times are newspapers? Those were just two of the titles that were affected, including local newspapers.

Extinction Rebellion stinks to high heaven of fascism. They are terrified of putting their views to the public vote in a democratic election because these middle class extremists are aware that they have no public support.

Extinction Rebellion and the NSDAP (Nazi party) both believe that it is acceptable to censor political opinions that they deem unacceptable.

I think this is a very dangerous totalitarian mindset that leads to suffering and intolerance.

Why do you believe that it is acceptable to censor legally held opinions you don't agree with? Have you learned any lessons from history?

I love it when both the Daily Mail and CarBoot trot out the same rhetoric. True allegiances shine through!

Just sayin'.

What we have seen in the last year is the very middle class, non diverse Extinction Rebellion becoming more and more radicalised and moving away from persuasion and lawful demonstration towards organised criminality which aims to spread fear and bring disruption to the lives of the working class.

So, how should we bring about climate action?

It is clearly needed. If we aren’t allowed to upset billionaires , how should we do it?

Fascists broke up printing presses, attacked and imprisoned newspaper workers and closed down permanently any opposition.

Can our representative for Marxism, Murdoch and the Mail note the difference?
