Fireman Sam sexist

You ask a male firefighter - any one at all - what their job title is and it won’t be fireman.

They are told to use gender neutral terms, as are the police, a policeman will never refer to himself as a policeman, nor will  a policewoman refer to herself as that either. Its a bit of a no no and potentially they could be disciplined for it. I happen to know that this is true.

A man who works for the fire brigade = Fireman

A woman who works for the fire brigade = Firewoman.

Its hardly rocket science

Well you managed to get it wrong, it’s fire fighter, regardless.

id stay well away from rocket science if you don’t understand what’s already been written on this very thread!

What about a non binary person who works in the fire service?

NB. Hope this is a better way of wording a fair question to make the point this time, mods. Please don't stealthily delete it.

He has to say "post" because the sound of the word  "mail" triggers the feminists.

Postperson Pat. Pat is also gender neutral as a name so is ideal. Some minor dubbing over the script to ensure non-gender specific pronouns are used to refer to them and it's fine.
