bendix
Folau is a devout Christian, although by the looks of it his christian values don't extend to those he disapproves of. Which doesnt seem very christian to me. Either way, of course he is entitled to free speech. But free speech, like all rights, comes with responsibilities and repercussions. he is employed by a brand - Rugby Australia - and if he falls short of their standards, then they are free to sack him. If I stood outside my office and said similar things, they would be perfectly to fire me too for bringing them into disrepute. So you're both right. It's freedom to be an ignorant bigot, and freedom similarly to be discarded as such.
