Bypassblade
I've been to Aagrah's on Leopold Square a few times and i highly recommend it! The food is superb with really great customer service. Reasonably priced too! I was considering going there for my birthday, but I read reviews on it & some of them shall we say were not great. I know it's each to their own, but I didn't want to find out it's rubbish after making effort to get there, going with wife to somewhere else but not Indian. allwednesday
Ambar is 20 years old this month. It's excellent, certainly one of my favourites. I've known Kumar since he used to work in The Stirrings on Oakbrook Road. He has built Ambar into a top-notch restaurant. Yes Kumar he's a decent bloke and always interested in his customer Me and the wife have been going a good 12-15 years top notch food too. ---------- Post added 29-10-2013 at 20:39 ---------- I was considering going there for my birthday, but I read reviews on it & some of them shall we say were not great. I've been going to Aagrah from day one generally it's very very good never had a bad meal but like you say each to their own, I would give it a go its very lively maybe just what the doctor ordered for a birthday. Bypassblade
Akbars (sheffield/Rotherham) Expensive but OUTSTANDING Went there a couple of years ago with friends, like you say great food; only draw back, blacker than a witches heart, I had to request a torch to read menu. top4718
Akbars (sheffield/Rotherham) Expensive but OUTSTANDING You must have a very low estimation of what constitutes outstanding food, Akbars is average at best and the no booking policy is ridiculous.
