Cargo Hold bar/restaurant, Church Street

A couple of months ago I was amazed to see this lovely old building has finally been refurbed and turned into something useful. They've made a good job of it.

 

I tried a half of some Spanish lager in the small bar bit. I wasn't over keen on the bar experience and won't rush back. Seemed like they were trying to be more of a cocktails place than a beer place.

 

No idea about the food.

 

I hope it succeeds though as the general idea is right.

That's all very odd. Something not right with the finances I guess.

 

Hopefully someone will take it on and do a better job.
