The Howard Hotel History

Recommended Posts

I'm looking in to the history of the Howard Hotel down by the station. I know that it has a chequered past but was wondering if anybody could give me any information on the place & if it has always been known as the Howard. Also was the building attached to it (now Noise Annoys) used for some kind of industrial purpose?

Thanks

Tom Sharp Howard Hotel 1927 57 Howard st,

in 1876 it was pos another building but 57 is listed as George Rothwell Beer house and refreshments.
