That's a bit cryptic.

In your opinion you don't believe the opinion polls - any of them? Or you do believe them but think there will a huge surge in the event of a GE?Or maybe you don't think the current government are that bad and Labour shouldn't be doing well in the polls?

Its all a bit "alternative facts".

Anyway, just read Nicky Morgan has bagged herself a minor ministerial role, proving beyond all doubt that principles mean less than **** all in British politics.

Oh and a wild rumour that SNP will back a no deal if they get Indyref2.

I believe Corbyn is doing quite well to say he has the whole media against him, May had to buy off the DUP t cling to power...hes doing ok, you can tell that by the way the media go into overdrive against him

but its not a fact that he should be...

If you look at the performance of the Tory Party in the recent European Elections and the Peterborough  by-election, one would expect the main opposition Party to be more than 20 points ahead in the polls if they had ambitions of winning the next General Election.

So the media (I love that old chestnut) will suddenly get on board when an election is called and polls will be reversed?

Some have, as you'd expect. But the guardian hasn't really got on board. To be honest, I've formed my own opinion from hearing fidget on a fence for 3 years.

But, whatever, if there is huge media bias and you accept that won't change, why on earth do you think he'll get elected? Keep his core policies if you like, but I'd ditch him tomorrow to get a fighting chance.

Even the Gaurdian has put the boot into Corbyn, he has 99% of the media against him, and on that score i think he has done quite well....

I think he could get elected because there is a lot of alternative news out there that report the true facts, not the once sided view that the msm feed us, and i think more and more people are wising up,

But that's isnt happening very quickly is it. If there is an election this year, Labour might be very very lucky and be able to form a coalition under corbyn. But honestly I doubt that will happen. If they put someone else in his place they could win it.

I am fully aware that if Corbyn is replaced then the new leader would probably get elected, but they would not be offering anything new, they would probably continue in the same vein as the Tories

Not necessarily. His policies - when he sticks to them - are hardly radical in concept, a fair chunk of them are socialism 101. He's crap with media, crap with large chunks of his party, and not great in the commons. He's great at some left wing rally somewhere but he was originally put up for leadership as joke and joke will cost them the election. Again.
