The Labour Party members choice to elect Corbyn as their leader which was against the wishes of Labour MPs emphasises my point. Using the MPs to whittle down the candidates to two and leaving the final choice to the membership is probably the best available option given our current constitutional arrangements. Whoever wins this raffle doesn't really matter. Parliament is clear about what it doesn't want but there is no clear indication about what it doesn't want. They can change leader as much as they like, it's not going to change this.

But I don’t know why he’s worried, the members are the best chance of him getting in. MPs are a bit more circumspect. He could have been arrested and questioned and he’ll still win. Look at the support mark green got - there aren’t many tories or brexiteers giving him stick. Better still, look who’s in the White House. Older tories are petrified corbyn will get in and they see Boris as the man to keep him out. It’s just sad the rest of the country representive by some portions of the press can’t run the rule over somebody who within a month of taking the job could be taking us out of the EU (badly) and going to war with Iran. The innocent explanation being that they were having the argument from hell. The police had said they had no concerns.

GivenToFly
I like Boris but he's too much of a risk, bit of a loose cannon; Hunt will be a safer pair of hands and he'll have more credibility around the world. To be honest, no UK Prime Minister will have much credibility around the world until Article 50 is revoked.

The flip side is also true of others. Some people, from both views, have become so obsessed that they have developed total tunnel vision and thinking.
