More reason to be carefull what you say and do then.

By the way, the house in question is a large Victorian townhouse with very thick walls. Unless you have a window open, you really have to be going some to be heard from within the house.

Flats have properties above and below too, which is where most noise transmits, particularly with converted old houses that weren't purpose built.

Oh my god, Johnson is morphing into Trump!

He’s now saying that he is going to ‘get a great deal’ from the EU.

Will James Bond off Bannon already? He on holidays or something?

Noise transits only in the stairwell in ours, and neighbours would have to be going at it properly hammer and tongs, to even register (1 instance so far, in a year and crumbs, genuinely thought he was killing her at the time, was mere seconds away from calling cops just as we heard them take off out).

2ft solid rebarred concrete everywhere (even partition walls), sorting out WiFi coverage was a right nightmare. But then, -20C in winter is no problem, neither was today's 44C (in sun, 35C in shade)

Still 28C right now, those G&Ts are evaporating too damn fast going down rather nicely :D

Of course it’s public spirited. If somebody thought you were being attacked in your property would you not want them to record it?

Seriously?

I'd prefer them to come and help, or call the police, rather than record it to send to their left leaning media friends.

It's been confirmed that Johnson has spoken several times to Bannon. It's rubbing off.

So lets look at Bojo the clowns recent pledge

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48756810

economic disparities between different areas eh? could that be due to almost 40 years of solid tory rule (apart from the blip of tory lite Nulabore) and their endless attacks on industry, the working, the poor, those less fortunate, the unemployed, the disabled, poorer areas, large industrial areas? including 10 years of heavy austerity.

Maybe thats the problem and NOT the EU? just a thought.

If it was as bad as you make out, we wouldn't keep electing more of the same.

A number of senior Conservatives, including Malcolm Rifkind in an interview with LBC, have said that it is right that of the police were called to his house, it is right that Johnson speaks about it. Even if to put the rumours to bed.

Very nice but very irrelevant. We were talking about converted Victorian townhouses, not purpose built blocks. Which does Boris live in?

It's anecdotal in reply to your broad-brushed statement about flats in post #759.

As for where Boris lives, that's just as irrelevant: with the girlfriend of the moment. That's more relevant to the debate, as an indication of character (amongst so many others).

They did.

They knocked on the door three times to ask if everything was alright and when they got no answer and the rowing continued, along with sounds of things being smashed, they called the police.

They did exactly what every good citizen should do. The recording is an irrelevance.
