themagicwand Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Looking for info on goth & rock pubs in Sheffield. I'm a professional magician and I work mainly in pubs and at wedding receptions. However I have been developing a new "dark" magic routine for use in pubs and bars which would be ideal for use in a goth/rock environment. Tyranna Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Yup, the Nelson, Dove and Rainbow, and the monthly BATFINK night (I believe that is currently first Friday at the Hallam Uni 'Hubs' (That big stainless steel domed building opposite the Showroom)). these are the main 'Goth' venues/nights in Sheffield. Another person who would be able to give you information about up and coming Gothic events is Pete, who runs the 'Rocky Horrors' and 'Party On' shops in Division Street. I'm a Drag Queen specialising in the Gothic theme myself, mainly doing live singing, but also a fair amount of classic camp cabaret and comedy, etc...
