First thing you need is a manager who can motivate the players, and get 100% out of them every game,

As Hots said early last season, the players just were"nt bothered, no passion or commitment .

Personally I think that's where Wilder succeeded, the rest is down to luck, the margins in the Championship are so tight you need a lot of luck with refereeing decisions, injuries, etc. How many times do teams have 30 shots on target and score nil, while opposing teams have one shot and win 1-0. Give Bullen a chance....

A good manager has to be a lucky manager.

Ive nowt against Bullen,I just think the jobs way above the bloke, nice fella, loves the club and has served it with destinction, and will hopefully continue to do so for many years to come.

Saw his interview after the Hull loss when he was caretaker and the guy virtually begged chansiri to get a new manager in ASAP.

Hes not for me,we need an EXPERIENCED head in there, how would the guy cope with 3 or 4 defeats on the spin,10 games without a win? We need a guy in their thats dealt with these issues and come through smiling, and as chansiri doesnt poach managers hel have to be contract free,if Hughton doesnt want it,its Rowett,Monk or Karanka.

Personally id say Karanka, got the boot at forest despite moving them into PO challenging position, cant see Rhodes lasting long!

When you've got a Manager doing as poorly as Luhukay did early last season, the players should have risen above it and played for the fans. A few more points achieved back then would have made a Hell of a difference. I still blame the squad's poor attitude above Luhukay's failures.

As good as Wilder is, he doesn't play......

It's the players who take the optimism on to the pitch.

After serious consideration, I'd like 1) Jokanavic   2) Wagner    3) Rowett ..... or I'd reluctantly accept Bullen.

Rowett did a great job at Birmingham.

The first two are in work I did hear a rumour Wagner was in consideration and would be a good appointment.

Excuse my ignorance but...

... what exactly is Mr Bullen's role within the club when he's not acting as caretaker manager?

I thought Mr Bruce brought his own 'team' with him, so Mr Bullen obviously can't just be being paid to hang about waiting for the manager to leave...

Hmmm...

... and meanwhile, still no news on what Mr Bullen does for a living.

Surely someone must know? :hihi:

Weve no chance with wagner, hes the boss at shalke  now,in the bundesliga

Your right mate, he’s not gonna leave to come to the Championship. I was hoping we don’t start the season without a manager but it’s looking more and more likely sadly.
