Boris Johnson Wants An Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants, Do You?

Recommended Posts

An amnesty from what?

They'll come forward and be identified and then offered the chance to go home for some reason or other.

Some of them may deserve to go back home - criminals etc but many of them won't.

Even illegal immigrants make a contribution to society it probably just isn't the type that middle class Britain appreciates or that doesn't for a big headline.

This is a really good idea.  Many of these people would have fled unstable and dangerous countries.  We (as a country) should do this to go a small way to cleaning up the mess Labour made.

Kicking them all out would be next to impossible and very costly.  Therefore a sensible way to deal with the situation is through an amnesty.

That way we can welcome them into the worksforce.

Even bad people can do good things.

It's called realism; Boris has form for lying and form for not following through.

He's been arguing for an amnesty for illegal immigrants for years. It wasn't politically expedient then, so why lie about it?

I'll believe it when it happens - he'll say whatever serves him to say; just look at Brexit.

Why does it serve him to be arguing for an amnesty? Particularly back in 2016 during the height of the migration crisis..

Like the "crisis" Johnson and Vote Leave making false claims that Turkey was about to join the EU - complete with poster showing all 76 million Turks bound for the UK?

Happy to play the immigration card all ways is our Boris.
