Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Message added by Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

Message added by mort

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Recommended Posts

Despite the clear warning in #1 more posts have been removed.
If you cant manage to disagree with someone without resorting to insults and personal comments then unless you want your accounts suspending please dont post at all.

No it does not as anyone over 18 regardless of education or qualifications can enter parliament as an MP, providing they are elected according to the rules.

What is to stop Parliament changing the rules to abolish all opposition parties?

Brexit is just the first stage of a revolutionary struggle to empower working people in this country.

What will be the second stage? Or are you just a typical Brextremist? I guarantee you, you will not destroy the rich under any circumstances, However in your power struggle you will destroy the poor. Are you happy with that?

No they really cannot. There are clear rules excluding police constables, various officers under the crown - armed forces, and until privatised for example British Gas employees.

Crucially idiots and lunatics - both terms with specific if outdated legal meanings are unable to stand too...

I guess you have never been an election agent.

Mr. Boot can answer first he seems to know more about it than anybody else. Then the rest can form an orderly queue. ;)

But if they resign from the job then they can so there is nothing stopping them.

You haven't really though that through have you!

So explain - a government with a small majority passes a statute to abolish opposition parties, packs out the Lords to make sure it gets onto the statute books - then what?
