The EU will not change the backstop and no-deal has been prevented by an Act of Parliament.

 

Johnson has even less power than Theresa May had, and her ‘working’ majority of +4 is now a minority government of -21.

The Prime Minister is the only person who can ask the EU for an Article 50 extension.  There are going to be a few twists and turns to happen yet and it is unwise to  count your chickens and  believe Parliament have blocked the implementation of the democratic referendum result on 31st October.

It. makes me laugh when I see all the anti Boris chat on here. You seem to forget that the government has had its legs removed. This is hurting us the British public a lot of you seem to be happy with the situation the government now finds itself in. So carry on laughing but remember if they the government are having trouble so are the rest of us. It’s time for a GE nothing else.

You are correct that the Prime Minister has to ask for the extension.

 

You are making a huge presumption, if you think that will be Boris Johnson. Parliament can kick him out at will.

The EU summit is on 17th October. When do you think Parliament are likely to kick Boris out before then?

Nope, a second referendum. That way we will know what the electorate wants now that the true impact is being talked about.

We all know that the opposition parties have decided not to vote in favour of holding a General Election before the EU summit.
