Agent Orange
Bradfield is very nice. Be mindful that, with some churches, if you do not live in the parish and are not active in the church, they may not marry you. I know Bradfield does accept applications from outside the parish; however, you have to attend church for a specified period beforehand. I believe you have to go for 10 consecutive weeks though how they check, I don’t know.

My cousin got wed in her local parish church by just facing out the parish priest. She said that she had been going to mass there for 15 years and that the priest’s predecessor had done her first holy communion when she was six. The priest said that he didn’t ever remember seeing her there and she said that she always sat at the back. The priest was suspicious but what could he do as it was a large city centre parish? Not sure you would get away with that in Bradfield though! 😳😉😂

I think the couple have to sign an attendance register after each service.

Janus
Unless things have changed, the priest/vicar usually stands at the door after the morning service and exchanges a few pleasantries. I think he/she would remember a regular.
vwkittie
Bradfield, hands down. Lovely church itself with absolutely stunning views to boot. Nice pub next door, what more could you want! Good luck with your wedding planning! Edited September 13, 2019 by vwkittie
