New adaptation of 'Van der Valk' starring Marc Warren.  At least it's something a bit more meatier from ITV on a Sunday night other than the usual period or cosy, warm hearted drama.

However it's the usual, formulaic cop drama.  Loner, maverick cop, no regards for the rules, as do the small team that he leads.  All the police work is done on a bar not the station for some reason?  As for it being set in Amsterdam, it could have been set anywhere.

Also think that Warren is mis-cast in the main role.  He doesn't have the gravitas to be a police inspector & with the cockney accent, I expect the rest of the 'Hustle' team to show up.

Me and her that should be obeyed were disappointed with the new Van der Valk

The original dark and moodiness has gone and been replaced by a Comedy.

Very poor.

Started watching 'Gangs of London' (Sky or magic box)

about as Violent as you could possibly get.

Machine guns, bombs, people getting killed every where and not a Copper or Blue Light in sight ??????

Extreme Violence throughout with story line flaws all the way through.

Worth watching but not for the faint of heart.

Keep safe out there.

This Morning. Not much else when you are in lock down is there ?

Only another 200 + television channels and the entire internet.

Apart from that you're right.

Personally, until the day comes when there is some mandatory government sanction for This Morning to be beemed  directly into my eyeballs I will go out of my way to find something else to watch other than "Holly" and "Phil".

Over the years they have degenerated what was a dull, average but passive watchable magazine show into the tabloid trash Holly vs Phil ego competition.  The presentation style is so fake it's painful to watch.

But I cannot deny it attracts massive viewing figures and as I have pointed out before popularity always wins - so clearly I am in a minority.

I don’t like it either and Phil and Holly are so boring aren’t they ?

5USA. We've been watching the recent NCIS repeats of the show from the very beginning. Dunno why there's a problem with the colour. Every thing from the first two series is overly yellow (that's as far as we've got). We watched them donkey's years back and they were fine then. Don't recall a problem.  Maybe 5USA have bought cheap prints or aren't paying for a decent boosting/broadcasting system, but it's making viewing them hard work.  Like watching the bloody Simpsons.

Still miss Sasha Alexander. Apart from the fact she was majorly hot, her character and the parts written for her were quite entertaining, especially the banter with Michael Weatherly.
