echo beach Posted June 9 Share Posted June 9 Darkest Hour. The brilliant film about Churchill’s early time as Prime Minister during the Second World War. Saw it originally in 2018 on its release. Gary Oldman received a handful of awards for his portrayal of Winston. Thank the Lord we had someone as stubborn and tenacious as Churchill in charge of our affairs at such a crucial time in our history. 10/10. echo. It exposed staff working there that were cruel and had absolutely no compassion whatsoever. How can this have been allowed to happen?. Shocking to say the least.
