Great game today. Help me out here, there was a big fuss about Forestieri getting banned for 6 games, yet he seems to be banned indefinitely by the club these days anyway. What's the crack with him?

 It seems that everyones answer to your question is,  It,s a squad game nowadays and even i,ve come round to rhat way of thinking.  Todays game highlights what i have just said. We  loose Bonner in the warm up  move Hutch to centre half, bring in Pelupessy and get a performance like that. We don,t have an argument.

Do you take interest in the Wolfpack.

He's not fully fit, but we're solid and he changes that. 2nd half Fletcher and Nuhiu caused real problems

 

Not to mention we've not seen the Forestieri if his first 2 seasons for a while

Three was only one and a half weak links as far as I could see.

 

Fox was good again. Fletcher and Nuhiu were good again.

Superb save from Westwood. Iorfa was good again. Hutch was almost faultless at CH, Bannan and Harris were well up for it. Palmer was good again.

 

On of the others didn't play at all (though he copped for a red card elbow that wasn't seen, or given)

The other one has lost quite a bit of pace, though he did tackle a couple of times, which is something new to him.

Quietly confident of a good season, but this IS Wednesday we're on about.

I have a passing interest in the Wolfpack a bit like my interest in the Leafs(hockey) and Raptors(basketball) i.e. I pay attention when they are achieving something lol I much prefer rugby union anyway. My main interests locally are the Blue Jays (baseball) and Toronto FC.

I do maintain an interest in English football especially from south Yorkshire and more especially the Owls ,who I only get to see live when visiting family and friends. Not been for about 8 years though, so overdue. Btw Wednesday always have won when I went to see them, since I became an ex pat.

This may have been 0-0 but it was a cracking game (ignore the biased Blade telling you it wasn't), some good football and great performances all across the team but Hutch and Iorfa in particular, Fletchers chance that unluckily hit the bar was from a great passing move, Westwoods save from Bamford was world class - it was a goal all the way.

 

Something to build on and proves we need not fear anyone. I remember this stat that we hadn't beat anyone in the top half during Carlos's first season too, I'd take that final placing now.
