Current Scams...

Recommended Posts

A recent conversation with my son convinced me that I’m not as smart as I thought I was. The phone rang and the caller proceeded to tell me that a small fortune had been taken from my bank account, my answer was to tell whoever it was to go forth and multiply. My son realised that it must be a scam call and then confused me further by telling me that they wanted me to say something in order to clone my voice.

Disregard what your son said - a total urban myth which has been around in various forms for years.

So the Derbyshire Constabulary on-line warning of your  ‘total urban myth’ should also be disregarded, I’ll opt for their professional advice, you do as you wish.
