Mr.Freedom Posted April 29, 2021 Share Posted April 29, 2021 Hi, in the 80's there was a gyym just past the Wicker arches towards Attercliffe which was housed in a refurbished office block. I think that this gym was run by Herol Bomber Graham. In the late 70's a gym was started on the top floor of a warehouse on Sheldon Row behind the Wicker which later became the Wicker kickboxing gym run by my old friend Mick Mullaney. When this was demolished to build Derek Dooley way, Mick moved the gym to Effingham road and it became the Wicker Camp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
