Easter Monday Massacre

Easter Monday (the 12th of April) will see the 1st Easter Monday Massacre at The Boardwalk in Sheffield.

 

With the following bands on the bill:

 

Psycho Logical:

 

A metal band from Sheffield with influences from Metallica, Anthrax, Carcass, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Motorhead and Rage Against The Machine. The band also features the 14 year old wonder of Sheffield, Sally Saunders, a 14 year old girl with more guitar skill than most adult men. The band have just realeased a 9 track cd available in shops around Sheffield and from gigs.

2days:

 

2DaYs are a three piece punk rock band from Thorne.There main influences are blink 182,allister, nofx and taking back sunday.

They have a cd called "Paint a smile and pretend everythings ok" which is available at most gigs.

Restricted:

 

A 5 piece rock band from Sheffield. Taking influence from Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Steve Vai and Oasis. The original mix of Thin Lizzy style riffs and indie type vocals creates a very unique sound. The band also features 3 girls, for a bit of extra entertainment for the guys in the crowd.

 

Church of The Holy Dollar:

 

A 3 piece punk band taking influence from Blink 182, Alkline Trio, The Ramones and Weezer. The band offer a set of punk covers, something to stand and sing along to, if you like punk that is.

Team Simon:

 

A stoner metal band influenced by muse, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili peppers and Kyuss.

The band will play there first ever gig on this night and will open the show.

 

The night is being held at The Boardwalk,Snigg Hill in Sheffield. And the doors wil open at 7.30pm, entry is £3.50 on the door.
