Someone said (online somewhere, so take it with a pinch of salt), that they can't divulge the result, because if it were a points deduction, there is a chance that SWFC players could say, "ah well, nothing to really play for now, and no point getting injured for nothing" and they stop being competitive and stop trying.  If they stop trying then a team who they should be beating, could beat them, and that could impact teams staying up or going down.

So they have to wait until the end of the season and then give the result.

Not sure I have explained that very well, but you get what I mean, I hope.

Not saying any of that is true, but it sort of makes sense.

Lol, if they stopped trying, would anybody spot the difference?

The exact opposite has been true with Wigan.

Rumours of administration doing the rounds. League One next season and a transfer embargo?

Dark times for the Owls.

So the owner who is the only debtor would go into administration so he'd lose all his own money? 😂

Wigan - true, but isn't it the case there that their owner has put (or is putting) them into administration? And EFL rules are that this would automatically be a 12 points deduction, which all members of the EFL know.  Not much chance of the EFL hiding that one.

Bring on that point deduction EFL!! Cheats shouldn't prosper!!....how can  team who create fake companies as sponsors, plead to be innocent?

Make an example of them and deter others.

Unless you have an inside take on the hearing you don't know that. The fake companies thing was allowed, it's the ground the EFL are saying wasn't right. None of us know what evidence either side have. If it's proven then fair enough we deserve it but nothings proven yet.

I think everyone knows what the evidence is Nervy?, it's a case of what the punishment is that no one knows, except those on the panel, deciding it.

Wigan are currently appealing the deduction as the guy that the EFL sanctioned to take over the club should never have passed a fit and proper persons test in a million years, the EFL is making a complete mess of things.

if we lost 12 points that would send us down ,then we would appeal, luton i cannot work out in the way someone pays 40 million, then they go bancrupt, that doesnt make sense, then is there not other clubs in wednesdays position?,the whole lot is a mess by the FA,and we still await our fate and others await theres ,nonsense to say the least.

Ok I'll rephrase that. No one knows what evidence Wednesday have to say it was ok by the EFL. We know roughly what the EFL has to say about it.

My point is no one knows what's been decided or is it a case of the EFL have said we've done wrong so that should be end of it and take whatever punishment?

Less than a week to go and it's not sorted, a complete joke. How long would an appeal take if the losing side appeals. It's like the premiership is sorted so all's well, forget the championship downwards is a complete mess with them unsure the promotions/ relegations can be sorted by the time the season starts
