Mister M
During lockdown I've been listening to a lot of radio dramas and comedies. By and large much superior to the drivel on TV nowadays
Baron99
Not so much a sitcom, more a sketch show but I'd like to see a re-run of "Absolutely", that was on Channel 4 from the late 1980's to the early 1990's, or even the cast get back together for an updated version. Radio 4 Extra are re-running a few episodes from when the cast got back together for a few sporadic radio shows over the past 8 years or so. Available on BBC Sounds. Very funny, especially Stoneybridge Council, Frank Bovis & the world's most boring man, Callum Gilhooley.
Thirsty Relic
There was a sitcom back somewhere in the 80's called "Heartburn Hotel" featuring Tim Healey as the hotel manager and a motley crew of residents getting up to all kinds of mischief. I don't think it lasted long, and I cant find it on DVD anywhere to buy, so I hope there's a re-run sometime on UK Gold or the like.

Each week (or fortnight-ish) three blokes listen to and discuss an episode of old-time radio (though some episodes are from the 80s), such as Suspense, The Price of Fear, The Shadow etc. It really is excellent. Make your first one Episode 38 - Spawn of the Sub Human .
Thirsty Relic
I think we need a really good sitcom to cheer us all up at this time. IMO I think we've got good comic actors, but they are wasted on poor scripts, that don't quite hit the mark.

Would rather watch new stuff if it was any good. Yes Minister was deliberately written and updated shortly before each show so it could be up-to-the-minute on political stories as well. Drop the Dead Donkey also did the same a decade or so later. Oh well, perhaps I'll end up watching the old stuff again if I get bored. I thought the next time I'd be watching stuff like that was when I eventually end up in a care home (hopefully many years from now - if I last that long). Speaking of which, One Foot in the Grave is also on. Better watch it and pick up some tips! Particularly if they have any episodes where the residents try to escape for a a visit to the local pubs! I loved 'Yes Minister' and the sequel where Jim Hacker was Prime Minister. Brilliantly written and situations still pertinent to today.
