True - but not as many excess deaths as caused by covid.

What is more worrying is that people in hospital with covid are a quarter of last January's peak - that's 27,000 fewer beds occupied by covid patients - but the NHS can't cope.

There is something wrong with the NHS - has it got enough funding / staff / beds?

UK is well down the list of beds per 1,000 population in Europe.

What's this about Ambulance call outs being well up as well. I go in Hillsborough Park a lot and there's always Ambulances and Police cars up and down. There so much odd stuff happening......I'm slipping into Alex Jones.... must fight the thoughts.... must fight them..

Maybe because Penistone Road is the second busiest in Sheffield?

Hmm. I wonder whether the stretch of Penistone Road by the park could be a quick route to a major Sheffield hospital.

I'll check that out with DuckDuckGo.

A&E is at the NGH so if ambulances are using their blues and twos by Hillsborough Park then there's something weong with their sat navs.

As I've explained before, the excess covid deaths were exaggerated by using care home residents as cannon fodder and adding "died with" covid as a covid statistic.

Depends where they are coming from.

Well you need to read back through a thread and look at issues already discussed. It has been reported that there is a large increase in call outs. Try your google search. I also said there were more than usual around Hillsborough, where I go a lot. Now stop trolling.
