Masks , pre-covid, were usually used to conceal ones own identity eg by criminals, Nothing to do with being used to dehumanise them.

Who said anything about pre Covid?

I'm sure history isn't restricted to the last 18 months

Look deeper.

Or don't.

It's your choice.

Good answer that Daddio,

Always read your post's on the subject of masks, you make some good comments,

Personally I detest the ruddy things, and I agree they do dehumanise me.

Not natural to cover ones face, I keep smiling at people, then I think, why the hell am I smiling.

Thank you Padders.

That means an awful lot 🙏

I’m sure that was the title of a rave tune circa 1991.

😂

I'll take your word for that.

You'll have no problem researching the use of masks/muzzles then.

Happy days 👍

Muzzle - oof - such an aggressive word.

A muzzle is a device that is placed over the snout of an animal to keep them from biting or otherwise opening their mouth.

Weird how someone should choose to describe a face mask like that.

its not weird, its what they do, they use negative and emotive words to get people on their side and to prove its wrong and evil

The speakers on the protests use lots of em, but no actual facts

Would anyone like to take a guess what the results are if you tally those deaths.

Granted it's not a full list of administrative areas and might not be fully representative.

Its about average compared to other years.

Aggressive?

My I had no idea you were so delecate.

Masks/muzzles have a long history and that history isn't usually about the health of the wearer

It's intended use is to dehumanise them.

Look into it. It's quite interesting but disturbing at the same time.

Aggressive language yeah?

“You’re being muzzled”

are we?

what’s the difference between a paper mask and a muzzle?

I'm sure Dr's, nurses and surgeons don't give a hoot what I call them but even if they did care that changes nothing.

Research the history of masks/muzzles if you don't believe me.

Or don't

Your choice, Mel 👍
