South Yorkshire Bus Service Needs Improvement

Yes, it's the 52/52a service that I am referring to, it's the only route that runs from Broomhill to Hillsborough.

And, as I said above, the ticket option no longer appears to be available.

BTW - you would find it useful using operators websites or that of the PTE, rather than relying on undated 'blogs'.

Well done for referring to a discontinued ticket from 13 YEARS ago. :hihi:

Blimey, I honestly didn't think it was THAT old - but no wonder it had totally been removed from my memory!

Exactly - but 'Irene' does live in the past. 😀

Multi-operator tickets are available.

Yes, but in the spirit of Sheffield they dont get bought as they are more expensive.

Much better to buy the cheap one then moan it is not valid in the same way the more expensive one is.

 THAT is the Sheffield way.

I never mentioned Optio tickets. I mentioned having First Bus only tickets. For example, you buy a First Day ticket, as they are the sole operator on that route for most of the day and then find your ticket can't be used on the bus back as only Stagecoach are running.

If you get caught like this once then that is a shame. To get caught like this more than once is ignorance.

How many times did you get caught?

I never said I did get "caught".

So the crime is : - You were caused to use the grey matter. On behalf of bus companies anywhere I will apologise, this is not what is expected of passengers.

Out of interest, @Irene Swaine, are you going to admit your many recent errors?

I don't make errors.

.

Post #1793 says clearly that you do - quoting a 13+ year old blog post without checking it is still relevant looks like one, to me. Just one example, but there are/were numerous others - including those under your former ID.
