Looking For Leslie Wright

.I am looking for help to locate my great Uncle, name Leslie Webster Wright born 21.06.1908, 53 William St Walsall Although Leslie was born in England he spent much of his childhood and young adult life in India before returning to England after the Second World War in 1948. Last we knew for certain he had married a Miss Vera Brawn in 1950 and they lived in Margatson Drive Ecclesfield Wortly but the marriage was short lived and there is no further information on his whereabouts nor anything we can confirm for certain from there. The reason I post here is whilst doing a bmd search we have uncovered the death certificat of a Leslie Wright same year of birth who passed away 8.1.1961, 23 Thorn Road Thornhill . The  present at the death was a P.D Wright named as son address 32 Clarke st Dewsbury. Now with he dates I am finding it difficult to reconcile that there would have been a son unless it might have been an adopted one or very young.. The doctor who certified the death was Alan Wilson. None the less we are grasping at straws and need help. My mum in her 80s has done a fabulous job of researching the family tree and this is the last mystery. Can you help? We are n Australia and are limited in the way we can research.

According to Passenger List Leslie Wright departed UK 4/12/1912. He returned on 5/10/1948 address given as 15 Margetson Drive Sheffield
