Yes, which is what I always do.  And then when I came back to find the ticket, the semi hidden, totally unnoticeable unless you knew it was there, sign was pointed out to me by someone who had seen loads of drivers fall victim to it.

Just put it down to spilt milk,  at least you know this will never happen again,  I forgot to mention the reason why I really check things out is because in my younger days I used to get more tickets than you could literaly shake a stick at for all sorts relating to driving,  I havn't got a ticket for J walking yet but hold on theres stil time.
