Waldo
Got a problem with our washing machine, it’s not going in to it’s spin cycle. Other than that it’s working fine. Is this likely to be something I could fix myself? Any suggestions?

Yes, it seems to work fine (fills, empties, drum goes round etc); it’s just when it gets to the fast spin part of the programme that it doesn’t do, and so clothes all come out wet. joojoo
Mine won’t spin if the load is unbalanced. For instance if I wash a heavy cotton jumper I have to put something like a bath towel with it to even the load.

Waldo
That makes sense, presumably they have some sensor to detect unbalanced loads in the drum and prevent a fast spin.
