Police Officer Hit Swfc Fan On The Head With His Baton

Recommended Posts

I think it likely that if this officer is convicted of unlawful and malicious wounding then he will be sacked. If he is found innocent, SYP will have to make a decision based on the evidence they have as to whether he can be sacked. Even if he is not sacked, this offence will remain on the officer's record and he will be aware that he cannot overstep the mark by an iota.

He will not get sentenced for GBH as he hasn't been charged with GBH. The CPS will have charged him with the offence that they felt they had the best chance of convicting him on.

The Police officer who decided to smack a16 year old SWFC fan over the head with a baton needs sacking now! Then he requires a custodial sentence for GBH.

Even though he hasn't been found guilty? Really?

So cops should be sacked based purely on allegations?

Surely the court case will decide if he's guilty or not guilty.

The officer responded to the incident with actions of inappropriate violence. Or did the officer think the lad was guilty of a serious crime without a judicial verdict?

Take a look at the video coverage you may wish to revise your comment.
