MickeyBarnes
hopefully it'll be completely different. V bar was terrible. it was dank, dark, the beer tasted cr*p and there were swastikas and racist comments all over teh walls of the gents. the place was a dump! Barra
I think that particular unit must be jinxed. Everything thats opened up in there has failed quickly.

funkymiss
It's on west st muddycoffee, I can't be more specific as I never quite remember what is next to what there (I wonder why...) although I think it may be kind of opposite nando's!
muddycoffee
I'm afraid I haven't heard of nandos either. I am assuming this Bar was once either : - The Bee Hive ( Later Firkin ) The Hallamshire ( a once superb pub and gig scene with central bar and lots of rooms ) And the Mailcoach or whatever irish pub it became afterwards Other pubs I know about are Varsity, Swim Inn, West Street Live etc, but I am pretty sure that they are all still like that. Classic Rock
The rents are so high on west street I'm not surprised bars fail. There's property on that road that have been empty since I was looking for a bar. Unless you've got a major pull or are a brand name, such as Nandos, then you will struggle to keep up.
