i know we are skint, but surely we have a few quid we can put in the electric meter, someone said we didnt replace the heating system, when we had the job done,if thats the case, who spends a million quid and doesnt replace the main part, madness

The new heating is supposed to have been  done as was the pitch but you only have to look at the state of it this season to realise something is not right.

2 or 3 years ago, I remember stating a case for Aidan McGeady to come to Hillsborough. He's still a very impressive player, currently ripping Donny to shreds.

He’s one of those that has to be in the mood. He was hardly ever in the mood last time.

Games at an elite level, should not be getting called off for a frozen pitch! It makes no sense at all....they have all of the equipment required, in order to ensure that the pitch is defrosted and they had ample time in which to do it!

Why does this ring 'tactical' postponement?

I read the boiler that heats it is broken and they are awaiting parts. Sounds plausible with covid etc but only the club knows if that's true.

Not enough.

When they put in 5 or 6 constantly decent performances on the trot, then I'll start to believe that they are really up for it.

We shouldn't get carried away after beating the bottom team.

They have to show a hell of a lot more before I'll be a proud, content, optimistic Owl again.

I've seen a lot better from us over the years, like finishing 3rd in the Prem, winning a Cup, and entertaining the finest football pundits and outspoken critics in the land.

At the moment, if we make 5 decent passes, we are brainwashed in to thinking we've played well.

We need a big awakening at S6. The sooner, the better.

That said, we looked a damn sight better against Wycombe, and a bit of hope raises it's ugly head again.

That's better than another massive flop, so we have to be cheered by it.

At least we looked like we wanted to score goals, so if a few go in, we could come out smelling of roses.

With that new found (cautious) optimism, I'll go 2-1 Wednesday.

It's a good job this game didn't go ahead, cos if we'd have played against these like we played against Stoke, Swansea would have got 6.

And that's not good.
