I agree with this and it's a bugbear of mine - no one says "I'll see you in A hour", do they? It's "I'll see you in AN hour...." Sometimes the "h" sound is silent....

 

And looking in the dictionary, the letter H is prounounced "AITCH" not "HAITCH".
