Is it just me, or is there a machine somewhere in town that is producing teenage boys dressed in tracksuits, with their bottoms tucked into their socks, wearing Nike Air trainers, at least 3 different hooded tops (all of them up at once), over a baseball cap? There seems to be more of these tracksuit warriors every time I leave the house.

 

You know the kind... they have their music playing out-loud on their phones (very considerate), they usually smell of gear, they have goatee beards (or the 'Manor 'tash'). I fundamentally do not understand this fashion. Do they realise they look like they've been wrestling in a JD Sports closet, and lost?

 

They also like to spit, swear at tram conductors, hit tram windows, stand around with their hands down their pants and generally drop vowels like cavemen. They're quite a select breed.

 

Anyone share my loathing?
