Barbara Orr Posted February 21, 2021 Share Posted February 21, 2021 I am looking for anybody who worked with or grew up with my dad Ronnie Orr. He lived in Ecclesfield Sheffield from 4yrs until he was 21yrs old in 1956.Worked at Greens Foundry. Went to primary & secondary school near the common in Ecclesfield. He came back to visit his mum Margaret Marsden right upto 1973 when she died. She lived on the Common Ecclesfield. My dad socialised in Sheffield he loved his football he was headhunted to play for Sheffield United but had a family & declined the offer. He would have had loads of friends because he was life & soul if any party. He went ice skating always with a group of friends going dancing. Always looked the part. Anybody who knew my dad please could you get in touch. I do have a picture of my dad with his friends ice skating in Sheffield but i cant upload it.
