I was rather disappointed in this programme as it didn’t mention much about England wining the World Cup in 1966 or showed any clips from this match. Sadly, I only caught the last few minutes of it and am not on iplayer, so don't think I can get to watch it, or other programs in the series. charliewag Posted March 30, 2021 Share Posted March 30, 2021 It was a very good programme highlighting Jack's battle with dementia although it dwelled a bit too much on his time as Ireland manager. The programme showed that although Jack didn't suffer fools gladly he had a compassionate side, in particular with Paul McGrath and his problems with alcohol.
