This is why we should be part of the EU, blame folk like me who stupidly opted for Brexit.

Perhaps you have not noticed the rise of the extreme right in the EU  Countries , there is a reason why migrants do not stay there even risking their lives to live in the UK ,       now a multi culture society to be proud off .

I have long noticed that not left does not translate to far right, but as someone with no political leanings I know that I will be labelled as the latter.

That's the game they play, Crookesey.

But you have your free speech, for now!

As long as you are not in any way, a public person of influence, or are intending to run for public office.!  :)

In one of the most transparent cynical ploys yet, the Democrats have made the U.S. Attorney who was (supposed to be) investigating Hunter Biden's international financial dealings, which saw $millions flow into the Biden Family, from China, Ukraine, Russia, Romania and Kazakhstan through a complicated series of transactions laundered through some 30 numbered corporations, a Special Prosecutor!

This was the guy who oversaw the sweetheart deal with Hunter, that would have left him totally immune from any further prosecution, and was wisely thrown out by a judge,

But now the dirty cops at Justice and FBI, can continue their 4 years pf stalling and coverup of the Hunter Biden Laptop, by continuing to refuse to answer any Republican Congressional Oversight Committee questions, by claiming, "no comment on a matter under current investigation" by The Special Prosecutor.

It also stops dead any attempt to bring or subpoena witnesses before the Committee  :)

Should be good to keep things under wrap for another 2 years, or so, the average time for a Special Prosecutor's "investigation" and Report, and well past the Election.

Move on citizen, nothing to see here!  :)

Are you referring to the Trump appointed US Attorney David Weiss? The person the Republicans were delighted to have assigned to the case before they realised he'd do his job properly?

I do hope so:

30+ GOP Senators Call for Special Counsel Investigation into Hunter Biden

Quote

On Monday, over 30 Senate Republicans called for the investigation of President Joe Biden’s (D) son, Hunter Biden, due to his documented nefarious actions including alleged felonious offenses. The GOP members, including Florida’s Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), wrote Attorney General Merrick Garland asserting that U.S. Attorney David Weiss be given “special counsel protections and authorities to conduct the investigation into Hunter Biden.” ...

Given the politicization of the DOJ under your watch and the importance of avoiding any appearance of impropriety, the undersigned request that you provide US Attorney Weiss the full protections and authorities of a special counsel,” wrote the GOP Senators. “This is one important action that you can take that will go a long way in restoring faith in our governmental institutions.”

Added to that, a recent ruling by the US Supreme Court has lead to judges ruling that the restriction on gun ownership that Hunter Biden is guilty of violating is unconstitutional. (Here's a drugs related example - given that's what he was found guilty of.)

This means Hunter Biden may be able to get one of the charges against him dropped. That will give a bit of a dilemma for Republican gun nuts - fewer restriction or go after Hunter Biden.
