Joe Biden The New President Thoughts So Far?

I dare say the Hunter thing might take as long as it takes for Trump to show his excellent tax returns.

Only US Presidential candidate in 40 years not to put them on the public record

All Trump's tax returns were duly filed on time with the IRS, as required by law.

He wasn't obliged to sow them to you, CNN, or the New York Times!

All his tax returns were turned over, by law, to Congress in 2022, and released to the general public.

You can be forgiven for not noticing,  Another "bombshell revelation" turned into a another "nothing burger"  :)

Are you referring to the Trump appointed US Attorney David Weiss? The person the Republicans were delighted to have assigned to the case before they realised he'd do his job properly?

Many Republicans would like to see Trump in jail, too!

He's upset the bloated gravy train Swamp in both  parties!

Must be doing something right?  :)

Missing out - of course - the huge amount of bawling, ranting and throwing ketchup-soaked nothingburgers at the wall that it took to get Trump to do what every other President had done:

From Wiki:

2016 - refused to release his tax returns after being elected president, although he promised to do so during his campaign.  Trump repeatedly and falsely claimed that he could not release the returns while they were under audit by the Internal Revenue Service.

2018 - sued to prevent his returns from being released by the IRS or his accountants.

2020 - appeals to Supreme Court to prevent release.  Loses.

2022 - Ways and Means Committee Chair gets six years of tax returns following Trump losing three years' worth of appeals.  Discovered that Trump - of course - lied about IRS auditing.

Yes, but they weren't the ones calling for David Weiss to be given Special Counsel status.

Only by digging a bigger, deeper swamp.

That would be the McConnell faction of the Republican Party.

A Big Mistake!  :)

Sadly McConnell (and Weiss) are a part of the Washington D.C. swamp!

Weiss signed off on a  a sweet deal Plea Bargain for Hunter,  conferring legal immunity, and effectively ending ALL further investigations into the Biden Family International Enrichment scheme, which a judge threw out!

I would categorize it as "exposing" a bigger deeper swamp!  :)

Stay tuned!

Which doesn't exist... 🙄

The central irony in your claims, even if it did... it would still pale into insignificance compared to the shear staggering levels of grift of the Trump family...

...just how did Jared get those billions? :suspect:

Completely delusional! :loopy:

Trump expanded the so called "swamp" to levels never seen before... as evidenced by the shear number of Trump advisors or inner circle who ended up in prison!

The only thing Trump exposed was the speed at which he was prepared to ditch the oaths he swore to protect, when he took office.

In other news, Weiss, the newly appointed Special Prosecutor, in the Bidengate Matter (who was appointed by Biden's Justice Department, because "he asked for the role" in some new bizarre process of appointing "Independent SP's  :) )  wasted no time in his new role.

After 5 years of Investigation, Weiss first signed off on Hunters "Sweetheart Deal" which would have had him immune from further prosecution.

Now, after being "appointed" Friday, literally, within hours, he moved to have the Tax Evasion charges against Hunter, dismissed.

The Hill

Judge dismisses Hunter Biden misdemeanor tax charges

So we at least get to see the process, like sausages,  being made!  :)

Maybe he's on to something, but the optics, which are of paramount importance in the upcoming election season, give the Democrats some breathing room, and bragging rights.

And further diminishes the trust the U.S. electorate have in their Law Enforcement Agencies, and by extension, the fairness of U.S. elections.

Fun stuff!  :)

(And although the FBI confiscated Trump's passport during the Mari-Lago raid, as a "flight risk", Hunter is able to continue his presumably legitimate International foreign $multibillion dealings on behalf of the Biden family).

Utterly delusional.  The list of senators that signed that letter include some of Trump's biggest fluffers: Hawley, Cruz, Graham, Cotton, Rubio, Scott, Blackburn, Ernst etc etc.  And, of course, our friend entirely predictably ignored the link pre-empting the inevitable crying about supposed 'sweetheart' deals.  Because of course he did  .

Not at all, Trump lost... even DeSantis agrees 🤣

Trump’s own officials say 2020 was America’s most secure election in history.

The charges Trump now faces show the system is working, the only people trying to undermine it are sore losers

Highlighting the stark difference in severity and seriousness of the respective charges...

...which pale into insignificance compared to those of the Trump family! 🤣

Hunter Biden misdemeanor tax charges are dismissed — for now

Quote

A federal judge in Delaware formally dismissed misdemeanor tax charges against Hunter Biden on Thursday, but the president's son is expected to face the same charges — or new ones — in the near future. ...

They indicated they would most likely charge Biden in California or Washington, D.C. “The Government, in the exercise of its prosecutorial discretion, is considering what tax charges to bring in another district and may elect to bring the same charges set forth in the instant information or different ones,” the filing said.

Silly sausage.  It even says more or less the same thing in your link :hihi: .
